Transfer Students
Banner services and systems that interface with Banner (including My Housing and the application process) will be unavailable Friday, October 31 at 3 p.m. – Monday, November 3, at 9 a.m. due to system upgrades. You may not have access to the application during this time, even after you have paid your Admissions Deposit.
If you experience issues, please check back on Monday, November 3, after 9:00 a.m.
Housing Application Lottery
Academic Year 2026-2027 Application Process
- Application Submission: Submit your housing application within the designated application period.
- Lottery Draw: All applicants will be entered into the lottery.
- Lottery Notification: Students will be notified of their housing status following the lottery.
- If selected from the lottery, you will receive a self-selection time ticket based on the number of credit hours accrued at Georgia Tech as a matriculated college student.
- If you are not selected from the lottery, you will be assigned to the waitlist in accordance with your lottery order.
- If you apply after the lottery deadline, you will be assigned to the waitlist in order of application.

- Application Timeslot Notification: September 8, 2025
- Application Period: September 9, 2025, to November 10, 2025, at 8:00 a.m.
- Information Session #1: September 17 at 5:00 p.m. – Join HERE
- Information Session #2: October 8 at 5:00 p.m. – Join HERE
- Lottery Draw Date: November 13, 2025
- Notification Date: November 14, 2025
- Room Selection: February 2026

The My Housing portal will be your one-stop for all Housing processes moving foward. You will login here to apply for housing, select or find your roommate(s), self-assign your room, cancel your assignment, reapply, use room swap to change rooms, and make your move-in appointment. Once you are in residence, you'll want to bookmark this page so you can submit maintenance requests, review room inspections, and much more!
CANCEL HOUSING To cancel your Housing Contract, click Cancel My Housing or select it from the Resources menu above.
